Julie Green, Kite Concept Sketches

Where to start... the face one is made of more graphs, showing various things, like my interests, distance from home, etc, that form the shape of the head and hair. The features, or at least their shapes, are formed from things like pets or more universally important things to me. The eyes for example would be made of characters from animation, something I've always loved, and the nose is made of my pets, past and present. The second image of it is simply it on a very different kite shape.

The diamond kites are treasure maps, following my life in a literal sense, and what I enjoyed, respectively. The diagonal rectangles are attempts at making a flag for myself. The second includes 1's and 0's like you'd find in computer programing, in stripes, there's a paw print with a pencil and a test tube crossed behind it.

The shields feature an ocelot (a personal symbol) and different variations, including the Chicago skyline in the background, a keyboard or even another animal on the other side. Again they hold pencils and test tubes.
